Congress Claims Anger & Anti-Incumbency On Massive Rise Against BJP In Gujarat

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal was greeted with ‘Modi, Modi’ chants at the Vadodara airport ahead of his town hall event.

When Arvind Kejriwal stepped out of the airport gate, with folded hands, he was greeted by a chorus of people chanting the prime minister’s name.

The AAP leader went on to receive the bouquet and left for the event venue.

Arvind Kejriwal is on a day-long visit to Gujarat and will address a town hall meeting in Vadodara. The Assembly elections in BJP-ruled Gujarat are due later this year, and the AAP leader has visited the state multiple times in the recent past to interact with people.

During his multiple visits to Gujarat in the recent past, Kejriwal had announced a slew of “guarantees”, including free electricity up to 300 units per month, allowances for women and unemployed youth, free and quality healthcare and education, and the creation of jobs.
